Ben Nevis Challenge 2014

On Saturday 20th September the St.Joe's Team took on their toughest climb to date. Raring to go , as usual , the team headed off into the beautiful sunshine to Fort William and enjoyed a whole day climbing up the highest peak in the UK,  Ben Nevis.

As their toughest challenge to date ,  the team found walking in the dry and warm weather a welcome change and were treated to some amazing views which had been so often denied them on the other climbs they have done.

As those who have climbed Ben Nevis know , it was a long climb , requiring some rest stops and a fair amount of encouragement for tougher stretches.

The team celebrated at the top but quickly headed down ahead of the failing light.

Constant and loyal supporters of Nicola's Charity , the staff and friends of St. Joe's have made this a yearly event that they all look forward to.

The level of support on the mountain made sure that all team members got to the top. Fantastic!

Of course , The Nicola Murray Foundation so appreciate their efforts every year. A brilliant team and a dedicated group of friends.

Goodness knows what they might organise for next year?

Thank you Team St.Joe's!!
