Schehallion Challenge

From an idea to climb a munro as a tribute to Nicola, neighbours Maria , Carol and Caroline took on this challenge to raise funds for the Nicola Murray Foundation and at the same time improve their fitness.

After a good six months of weekly walks and hill climbs , the trio set off on a misty morning in September to scale the 59th highest Munro that is , Schehallion.

Despite difficult conditions , the ladies made the round trip in approximately 4 and a half hours and succeeded in reaching the cairn and ‘bagging’ their first Munro.

Although the day was rainy and windy with poor visibility, the three found the experience challenging, fulfilling and worthwhile.

Thank you for persevering Ladies ……and well done!!
